“Intelligence is the ability to adapt to change.” – Stephen Hawking
Life is unpredictable path for every human but few are engulfed in the harsh seasons of this path. This article sheds light on a renowned scientist’s journey that is an inspiration for countless souls who face difficulties in seeing the brighter side of life when all seems lost. Stephen William Hawking was born on 8th January 1942, in Oxford England. He was an average student in his school years but eventually he started showing extraordinary skills in is teenage as along with his several friends. Though his interest in old waste electronic screws, he built a computer out of recycled parts for solving rudimentary mathematical equations. This was his first time Hawking evinced himself as an extraordinary persona.
Out of this development people begin to call him ‘Einstein’ at school. Soon, after schooling he completed his College time frame from Oxford University. Furthermore he graduated with honors in natural science and moved to Trinity all at Cambridge University for attaining a PHD in “Cosmology”. Stephen Hawking is prevalent, broadly known and frequently contrasted with researchers like Einstein and Galileo. He is also a theoretical cosmologist, a physicist and chief of research at the Center for Theoretical Cosmology in the University of Cambridge today.
But life has other plans for every person, life injects hindrances at every stage but the element of acceptance of challenges is few in people. This type of person is there on this planet with us known as Stephen Hawking. Despite going through physical impediment, he has contributed much to the field of science. Stephen hawking suffered through a severe ailment ALS (motor neuron disease) at the age of twenty. This disease made him weak day by day but he brawled against it and regained the strength out of it. He learned how to make a way out of awful circumstances. As he says, “I don’t have much positive to say about motor neuron disease, but it taught me not to pity myself because others were worse off” His firm consistency on the scientific ideas made him as an independent man and he desired in the same way as a normal human does. Hawking’s determination, ambitions and dreams served an immense role throughout his life. He used machinery to overcome his disability.
His thoughts and brilliant ideas worked as machinery and developed many discoveries. Another aspect of his success is the perceptions composed in many of books written by him. The impressive scientific notions spread to overall population with the publication of the following books, A Brief History of Time, The Universe in a Nutshell, The Theory of everything, Black Holes and Baby Universes and other Essays etc. Hawkins reshaped the way we look at black holes as he said “If you feel you are trapped in a black hole, don’t give up. There is a way out”. He rotated the black holes a complete 360 degrees & developed an equation which proved that black holes do not last forever as they eventually explode overtime.
Considering his belief on creation, as per Pope-there ought to be no contention over who made the universe as it's clearly God, while, as per Hawking its Science which can clarify the making of the universe. So, the faith and beliefs of Stephen were calculated more towards his scientific experiments about universe, nature and time that are impossible to turn back the clock.
“Don’t be disabled in spirit as well as physically.”
