Generally, the result is announced after a few months of the examination conducted by the board. This year's result is also expected in the same manner. Board of intermediate and Secondary Education, DG.KHAN has been established under the West Pakistan Board of Intermediate and Secondary Education (DG.KHAN) Ordinance, 1989 (now repealed) out of Multan Board. It is now being governed under Punjab Boards of Intermediate and Secondary Education Act, 1976.
BISE DG khan holds multiple functionalities like to hold and conduct examinations relating to Intermediate Education, Secondary Education, Pakistani and Classical Languages and such other examinations as determined by the government. Solidarity, reject or remove acknowledgment to the Educational Institutions. Furthermore, placing down settings for promotion to several examinations held by the Board. In the next phase, it grants certificates and diplomas to the successful candidates of intermediate and Matric.
These exams are conducted after the submission of the admission fee by the students. The fee collecting, receiving is also its responsibilities. The fee is used to run the board. Also, board awards with prizes and medals to position holders. Besides this, all board organizes extramural and curricular activities to enhance the abilities of the students. Its connected zones are Muzaffargarh, Layyah, Rajanpur, and DG Khan, and the students of these districts are handled by the board for matric and intermediate education activities also 9th class result.
Exams of 9th class are conducted in March following the admission conducted in November of the students either private or regular. The supplementary examination of 9th is also conducted by the board of intermediate and secondary education DG Khan.
