Students and learners are increasing in Pakistan with each day passed and with this rapid increase in the number of students, the educational authorities need governmental bodies which could conduct the exams of the students. To meet the needs, the government has established multiple educational boards in every province of Pakistan. These educational boards are responsible for registering candidates, issuing them a roll number, conducting exams and announcing the results.

The high school classes consist of two stages being Matriculation (9^thand 10^th) and Intermediate (11^th and 12^th).
