University of Health and Sciences has announced that the classes’ commencement date for medical and dental colleges of Punjab will on 22 February. Medical universities and Colleges of Azad Jammu and Kashmir will start from 1 March according to the official Notification published on Monday, 15 February.

On Monday VC UHS, Dr. Javed Akram held a meeting in the department in which it was announced that there is no more late in the commencement of classes. He also congratulated the staff on early task completion of the admission procedure.

Furthermore, it was also decided in the meeting that those students who are unable to pay their fee at the scheduled time due to financial issues their admission will not be terminated instead there is much need-based and merit-based scholarship for such students. Besides, it was also declared, that university will pay the fee of such students having excellent grades but a poor financial condition.

The Team Lead for Admissions, Dr. Allah Rakha, has also made it clear that nearly 95% of the seats are enrolled against students, and the admission process is almost complete.
