The Indian citizen obtained his master's degree at the age of 98

It is said that passion has no value and if this passion is for the pursuit of education and it includes research and dedication, then no power in the world can stop this passion from being fulfilled.
 
According to Indian media, Rajkumar Vish was admitted to Nalanda University in Patna, Bihar at the age of 96 and two years later, at the age of 98, he passed the Master's examination in economics.
 
Meghalaya Governor Ganga Prasad awarded the degree to Rajkumar Vaish on the occasion of the 12th annual convocation of Nalanda Open University.
 
Rajkumar Vaish said, "I am very happy to get the degree because I worked very hard for it and it was my long-time desire to complete my Masters." He advised the youth to focus on education along with career.
 
Nalanda University Registrar SP Sinha said this is a great achievement for the university, saluting Rajkumar Vish and his determination to pursue education at this age. "We are wondering where Rajkumar spent his energy in the past," he said.
 
SP Sinha said that Rajkumar is the oldest person to receive Masters degree from this university, the university will keep his notes as a lesson for the youth.
 
It may be noted that Rajkumar Vish completed his graduation from Agra University in 1938 and received his law degree in 1940, but could not continue his studies after getting a job.
