National Bank of Pakistan (NBP) makes a Qarz-e-Hasna scheme, giving Interest-Free loans to the eligible students. It’s a Student Loan Scheme, giving by the collaboration of Pakistan’s Government and the major commercial banks of Pakistan. NBP has launched the Students Free Interest Loan Scheme, while announcing the last date of applying for the loans, until August 31, 2018.

Loans would be approved only for the Graduation, Post-Graduation, and for PhD programs, while age limit matters.

In addition, Qarz-e-Hasna loan has been approved under the normal criteria which everyone can utilize it only for the purpose of education. The fix subjects have been approved under the Interest Free Loan Scheme, including Engineering, Oil Gas and Petro-Chemical Technology, Medicine, Chemistry, Mathematics, DAWA and Islamic Jurisprudence ( LL.B/LL.M Sharia), Economics, Statistics and Econometrics, Commerce, Electronics, Agriculture, Physics, Biology, Molecular Biology and Genetics, Other natural sciences, Computer Science, and Business Management Sciences.

The scheme is only for those who secured 70 per cent marks in the last public examinations. There will be easy conditions for getting a loan of NBP, while it would pay directly to the University.
