The Progressive Private School Association has demanded the Chief Minister of Punjab to pay the compensation to the PEF partner schools.
The educational future of lakhs of children has been jeopardized due to the inheritance of Punjab Education Foundation. More than three lakh teachers have been forced into poverty due to non-payment of salaries. Ajmal Ashfaq, the provincial president of Progressive Private Schools Association, says that the institution has become abandoned due to the absence of MD, Board of Directors and Chairman.
Ajmal Ashfaq has demanded from the Chief Minister of Punjab that due to non-payment of schools, the teachers have reached the point of poverty, by making immediate appointments to important posts, payments should be released to the schools immediately so that the continuity of education can be continued.
