After the reappointment of Dr. Aim as the chairman of Higher Education Commission Sindh, the academic staff of public universities has decided to go on a strike against this appointment.

The Federation of All Pakistan Universities Academic Staff Association (FAPUASA) Sindh has given the strike call which thinks that Dr. Asim has been reappointed on a key post illegally.

Mehran University of Engineering and Technology, NED University, University of Karachi, Shah Abdul Latif University, Quaid-e-Azam University of Engineering, Sindh Agriculture University and others may affect in academic activities due to this strike against the appointment.

Dr. Asim has been accused in several corruption charges and treating the terrorists in his own hospital.
