The Supreme Court of Pakistan banned four milk brands and issued orders to stop remove the milk from the stores immediately.

The court issued the orders after hearing a suo motto case on the low quality of the milk in the country. After unsatisfactory results of laboratory tests about the quality of milk, the Supreme Court imposed an immediate ban on selling of milk products of these brands. These brands include Day fresh, Nurpur and Day Fresh UHT.

Earlier, Supreme Court banned 24 mineral water companies due to selling unsafe water for human consumption.
