The media department of Superior University, Lahore, will organize a seminar on “Media and Democracy” in order to raise awareness about rights and responsibilities, on July 3^rd, 2018.  

Senior journalist, analyst and columnist Mujeeb ur Rehman Shami will be the chief guest of the seminar. Other journalists who will address the seminar include Mr. Sajjad Mir, Mr. Hafeez Ullah Niazi, Mr. Arif Nizami, Mr. Salman Abid, Mr. Azam Chaudhry and Mr. Salman Ghani.

Political parties’ representatives including Mr. Qamar Zaman Kaira (PPP), Mr. Fawad Chaudhry (PTI) and Mr. Liaqat Baloch (Jamat-e-Islami) will also address the session.

Dr Sughra Sadaf (DG PILAC), Dr. Aslam Dogar (Adl. DGPR), Mr. Sohail Riaz Raja (HOD, Mass Communication, COMSATS), Dr. Ifra Iftekhar (Chairperson, Mass Communication Management, Superior) and Mr. Asim Manzoor (Programme Manager, Mass Communication, Superior) will also address the ceremony.

The seminar will commence on 11:00 am followed by Hi-Tea on 1:30 pm at PILAC Auditorium, Punjab Institute of Language, Art & Culture, Punjabi Complex, 1-Gaddafi Stadium, Ferozepur Road, Lahore.
