Punjab Education Department has announced summer vacation in educational institutions. Students will get two months summer vacation from June 1 to July 31 this year.
According to details, Punjab Education Department has announced summer vacation and schedule of new academic session for all public and private schools. In this regard, notification has been issued by School Education Punjab Department. I have been instructed to start the examination and academic session from 1st August.
The notification said that the students will get two months summer vacation from June 1 to July 31 this year and the examinations for class 1-8 will start in the month of May. The year 2022-23 was announced to start from 1st August.
It was also agreed to conduct the annual examinations of Elementary Classes (Grade 4-8) from May 2, while the matriculation examinations will start from May 17 and the results of the examinations will be announced on July 17. Similarly, the Intermediate examinations will be held on June 15. Higher Secondary Schools will open admissions from July 1 to 31. The Sindh Education Steering Committee had announced that the examination papers would consist of 40% MCQs and 60% detailed questions.
