The government has made an important announcement regarding the opening up of all schools. If the situation gets better, all schools will be opened from 15^th August, 2020. Punjab’s educational minister, Dr. Murad Raas has also confirmed the same decision in order to remove the notion of fake news as it was circulated previously.

Dr. Murad Raas said that government is monitoring the situation carefully and as soon as any improvement is observed, schools will be opened for students. Despite the opening up of schools, all students will not be allowed to sit in the class at the same time. The opening up of schools will be done in a phase wise manner in which only required classes shall be opened. As far as classes are concerned, only 20 students will be allowed to sit at a time in a classroom.
