Schools and colleges in Punjab and Islamabad have resumed educational activities for 10th and 12th classes today in accordance with decision made by government.
Last day Provincial education Minister made an announcement on Twitter:
“Only Classes 10th & 12th to be opened in all Districts of Punjab starting tomorrow May 31st, 2021. It will be staggered with 50% students on one day and 50% on the alternate day. No other classes to be allowed till June 7th, 2021. Follow SOPs.”
Therefore today all schools and colleges were open for matric and intermediate classes keeping the necessary SOP’s in mind. Moreover it is made mandatory for every teacher to get vaccination before 7 June to minimize risk of covid19
“I request all teachers of public and private schools and non-teaching staff to get vaccinated before June 7 because we are going to open schools on June 7,” said Murad Raas.
On the other hand, BISE Lahore Controller of Examinations said that roll number slips will be delivered to applicants very soon and exams will be in conducted following SOPs to conduct exams in the following month.
