The revised schedule has been announced for the examination of Matric and Intermediate classes. This schedule is announced pertaining to the entire province of Punjab. The Punjab Board Committee of Chairman (PBC) has announced the new schedule pertaining to Matriculation and Intermediate examination for the year 2020.

The notification originated by PBC directs that there will be no practical papers conducted neither for Matriculation nor Intermediate students. The exams will be conducted only based on theory papers. The centralized marking system of the papers is also replaced with separate marking system. All the educational boards of Punjab have been instructed to initiate their preparations for conducting examination as per the revised schedule. However, the revised schedule will also be made null and void if COVID - 19 stays till June 04, 2020.

The PBC also notifies that the result for Matriculation classes will be announced in the third week of July as the entire 10th class examination was being conducted successfully. The examination for 9th class will be conducted between June 18, 2020 to June 27, 2020 and their results shall be declared in the first week of September. The examination for the second year of intermediate will be conducted between June 29, 2020 to July 27, 2020 and the results will be declared in the second week of September. Lastly, the first year exams will be conducted between July 10, 2020 to July 20, 2020 and its results will be publicized in the first week of October.
