Times Higher Education (THE) magazine which covers everything related to education publicizes the ranking of universities into various categories. Recently, THE has announced best Golden Age Universities as per 2020. Quaid-e-Azam University has been ranked among world’s best golden age universities of the world.

The ranking of golden age includes best universities around the world including successful universities having age above 50 years but less than 80 years. Ranking has been categorized including teaching, research, citations, international outlook and industry income. The top 100 institutes have only one university of Pakistan but the most highly featured country is United Kingdom with 21 universities, US has 13, China has 10 with Australia 7, Canada 6, Germany 5 and India with 3 institutes.
