Islamabad: Quaid e Azam University organized Optics activity in the significance of international Day of Light. It is initiated by the Department of Physics.

The optics activity on the day of light is celebrated as the joint venture with the Optical Society of America, the International Society of Optics and Photonics, and the International Commission of Optics and Abdus Salam International Center for Theoretical Physics. Dr. Imrana Ashraf and Dr. Raheel Ali of Quaid e Azam University department of Physics organized the event in the varsity.

The optics fair is arranged to promote optics and photonics applications in schools and other institutions said, Dr. Imrana Asif. The Vice-Chancellor Quaid e Azam University attended the fair as Chairperson. He said that youth is our future and hope. Further, he asked students to take advantage of the situation and work hard.
