For the first time, Punjab University will conduct online exams for all the students of B.A and B. Sc. programs. Part II students had to appear in the exams which were earlier postponed but management of PU had already made a Plan B if the situation doesn’t improve. At last, the spokesperson of PU said that we have reached a position, where the decision has to be made otherwise a full academic year can be wasted. Students, who were taking online classes have already been registered on university’s online portal, hence, same credentials shall be used for online exams.
The official Facebook page became the main source of such information and later on, the news was posted on official website and other news platforms couple of days ago. Initially, people felt it as fake but later on, it was verified by university as well. Students who are not yet registered can also signup using portal of the university and get registered for the exam. Exams will be starting from August 05, 2020. Following a similar model to UET, PU has also made the facility of mock exam available for the students. As university is going to conduct online exam for the very first time, therefore, students will be provided with an opportunity in exam like environment so that they can be familiar with the overall online examination.
Students will be appearing in the exams with unique email IDs. Each one of the user shall have his / her email id entered into the university’s records. Students have also been provided with an opportunity to update their details within due time. The details which are to be provided for online exam include registration number, CNIC number, father name, student name as per admission, email id, date of birth, mobile number and WhatsApp number. Some of the students are facing difficulties in entering the data, however, PU is trying their best to facilitate its students. For further details, keep visiting our website.
