The administration suspended 10 students of Punjab University for spreading unrest among the students.
The Punjab Chief Minister also issued a notice and demanded a report from the CCPO, directing non-discriminatory action against those responsible.
At Punjab University New Campus, 10 students involved in clashes between two student organizations have been identified. The university administration has decided to suspend five students from both the organizations involved in the dispute. Will be suspended.
The administration has identified the shooters with the help of security cameras.
On the other hand, Punjab Pashtun students rallied against the arrest of fellow students and staged a sit-in protest outside the Vice Chancellor's office.
Taking notice of the incident, the Punjab Chief Minister sought a report from the CCPO. The Chief Minister directed the CCPO to take non-discriminatory action against those responsible.
