In an official notification by Punjab University, as per approval of its academic council, the schedule of classes, summer breaks and final examinations. The tentative timelines have been notified to all the departments and its students as online classes were ended on 31^st May, 2020. Summer breaks will be from June 01, 2020 to August 09, 2020 with final examinations to start from 26^th August, 2020. However, it has been made loud and clear that all the classes and examinations’ traditional conduct is possible owing to the improvement in situation of COVID – 19.

Students who were unable to end online classes will be available to attend compensatory classes from 10^th August, 2020 to 24^th August, 2020. The schedule of examinations for all different departments has been made available on the official website and facebook page of Punjab University. Examinations for Faculty of Law will be start from 7^th September, 2020, whereas, all B.A, B. Sc., M.A, M. Sc., B. Com and M. Com Part II exams will start from 22^nd July, 2020 and continue till September for Masters students. All the affiliated colleges shall start their examinations from 11^th September onwards. Despite all these efforts, the traditional exams can only be conducted based on the improvement in corona virus situation but students are notified to get themselves prepared for MCQs based online examination as well.
