Punjab Govt bans mobile phones, jeans in the schools across the province

The District Education Authority has imposed a ban on wearing jeans and using mobile phones for the teachers across the province.

The authority has announced a new rules and regulations for the educators in order to better maintain the discipline in academic institutes. It has also declared mandatory for the employees of grade IV to wear black dress during the duty hours.

The prohibition of students sitting on the floor and ensuring a dustbin in every classroom is also included in this new set of rules and regulations. No head of a school can suspend a grade IV employee, according to new rules.

No teacher is allowed to write any sort of letter to any authority and the teachers can go on pilgrimage only during vacation, the set of rules and regulations further said.

The rules are required to be followed strictly in order to avoid any accountability.
