The Punjab University College of Information Technology (PUCIT) will inaugurate the astonishing Technology Park at a new campus. In addition, PUCIT principal Dr. Syed Sarwar has submitted a proposal regarding over Technology Park project to the Vice-Chancellor of the University of Punjab (PU), Dr. Niaz Ahmed Akhtar.

Dr. Niaz granted the administrative approval for the construction of the 6-story building at an estimated cost of Rs 150 million. Furthermore, the project will be processed next week.

Dr. Syed Sarwar, PUCIT principal said that the establishment of Technology Park will enhance the PUCIT association with the local Tech-Industry and will provide numerous opportunities for joining research and development projects. He further addressed that the employment opportunities would be also enhanced with the inauguration of PUCIT Technology Park.
While concluding, Dr. Sarwar talked that after the establishment of Technology Park, PUCIT would be the first computing department in Pakistan to establish such an astound facility using its own revenues and funds.
