Public Educational Institutes of KPK Join Hands for the Tree Plantation

Federal government of Pakistan has announced on Sunday for 10 billion tree plantations across KPK. In addition, numerous educational institutes of Peshawar remained opened on Sunday, for the tree plantations. In fact, many students and teachers took part in the tree plantation campaign launched by the Federal government of provincial capital.

Furthermore, the Federal Government of Pakistan has announced that 2 September would be celebrated as   “Green day” for Pakistan. The district administration has appreciated the collaboration of Forest department for the tree plantation campaign.    
 

Commissioner Shahab Ali Shah commenced the campaign by planting a sapling at Shahed Hasnain Sharif Government Higher Secondary School.  Senior officials of Peshawar district administration joined hands for the plantations of the sapling at different lawns of the University of Peshawar.

The chairman at the BISE Peshawar has also planted saplings along with other staff members and students of different institutes. Numerous students from various public educational sectors planted over 200000 pine saplings in Swat and Oghi.  

Moreover, a ceremony was organized on the significance of tree plantation and healthy environment in District Swat by the officials of Forest department and locals of Swat.
