Lahore: The Lahore High Court has taken severe action against private schools for hiking tuition fee structure without approval of the government. Parents are protesting collectively against all private schools’ fee hike.

Secretary Muhammad Mahmood told that the court that government had already taken cognizance of the issue and the meeting will be arranged on 14 September 2019 between all members of private schools.

The Secretary further explained that he could not attend the last hearing of the court however the court’s orders were not explained to him.

A good number of parents had filed a petition against the private schools for raising school fee to 50 %, without any prior notification; which is unbearable for the parents of the students enrolled in private schools. They urged the court to take severe action against Private schools for hiking fee unlawfully.
