In addition to textbook boards in government schools, books by private publishers have been revealed, the Department of School Education has banned the teaching of notices, summaries and helping books to children.
Most schools are selling abstracts and helping boxes to children in the name of examinations, the school education department has taken stern notice of the matter. According to the education department, only free textbooks provided by the Punjab Textbook Board will be read in schools.
The books of private publishers will not be allowed to be sold under any circumstances. In this regard, the school education department has also issued instructions to all the authorities.
