The Prime Minister of Pakistan while addressing the inauguration ceremony said that the government has built numerous projects of infrastructure including ports, airports and motorways but the advancement of information technology (IT) in last five years is the most important contribution.
The youth will be enabled by DigiSkills programme to get non-traditional jobs online and earn their living.
The government is responsible to fully facilitate the private sector in order to make it an effective asset for the country and the government is determined to provide broadband internet in order to improve e-commerce, the Prime Minister said.
The programme will allow the youth of Pakistan for online earning and an average of 200 to 300 dollars can be earned working as a freelancer, the Minister of State for Information Technology and Telecommunications, Anusha Rehman said.
The government is determined for the bright future of youth by making reforms in the field of technology, the Minister of State for Information Technology and Telecommunications, Anusha Rehman further said.
