The Punjab Higher Education Commission (PHEC) is looking forward to launch a data-base which will contain information about private and public colleges and universities in the province, faculties, enrolled students and programmes of the institutions.

The PHEC will complete the data base by next year and make it accessible for general public with an aim of improving the higher education in the province by developing a workable plan, according to the reports.

The plan to launch student-teacher data-base will be a helpful in higher education development of the province, stated PHEC Chairman Dr Muhammad Nizamuddin.
