Islamabad:  Higher Education Commission of Pakistan is to announce the scholarships for the students of Ph.D very soon. The scholarships are offered under US-Pakistan Corridor program Phase 1. The scholars and non PhD faculty members from different universities of Pakistan will be given opportunity to study Doctorate degree from the universities of United States.

Under this program 200 students were sent to US moreover the government aims to send as many as 300 students in 2018. The program will continue until 2025. The total target of students to be send to United States until 2025 is 10,000 students.

The scholarship is provided to the students throughout Pakistan and state of Azad Jammu and Kashnir. The scholarship is provided for the fields of Medical and Allied Health Sciences, Agriculture, Veterinary Sciences, Computer Science, Emerging Technologies, Water Resources, and Energy, Arts and Humanities, Design and Media, Social Sciences, Engineering, Basic Sciences.
