The students of Peshawar University are on protest since morning. The protest is held because of increase in university fee. The students have claimed that the unjust increase of fee every year is forcing poor students to quit studies. The Student federation and society has announced that the protest will continue until the demands of students are met.

Many students participated in the protest held in front of vice chancellor’s office. Students were holding banners with the writings against the management of university. It is said that huge amount is collected from students for the maintenance of hostels where as the situation of hostel is getting worst with every passing day. Students have also demanded to remove fee for supplementary exams and better transportation facilities. Moreover the degrees of institution of education and research are not recognized by HEC. The protest is continued.
