Pakistan Post Circulates Champion Trophy Special Stamps to Honor the Victory

The historical victory of Pakistan Cricket Team in the Champions Trophy is set to be re-celebrated as Pakistan post has published special stamps and souvenir sheets to honor the players’ hard work and nation’s triumph against the arch-rival India.

Pakistan captain Sarfraz Ahmed and other players accompanying Pakistan Cricket Board official were present at the launching ceremony of these stamps on Thursday.

The stamps worth Rs 10 carry Pakistan’s team holding the trophy after the victory and the trophy itself with the participating nations’ flags on it.

Pakistan defeated the arch-rival India badly under the leadership of Sarfraz Ahmed in June 2017 claiming its first Champions Trophy at Oval.

Chairman PCB Najam Sethi also attended and addressed the ceremony and expressed his belief in the team led by Sarfraz Ahmed.

The stamps launched by Pakistan Post are very historical in nature and after a few decades, they will become the collective items and may be priced heavily going into the hands of next generation of cricket lovers.
