Under the Pak-Turk Researchers Mobility Grant Programme, the Higher Education Commission of Pakistan and the Council of Higher Education (CoHE) Turkey have agreed upon 11 combined research projects.

The programme backs advance scientific and technological collaboration between Turkish and Pakistani higher education institutions by the endowment of funds for movement of academic staff and graduate students.

Energy, food technologies, sustainable environment technologies, material sciences, smart transportation systems, robots and smart systems are the priority areas for which the projects have been approved for funding them for next three years. Various Pakistani and Turkish universities have got the grant under these projects.
