A delegation of almost 91 members including sports officials is on the visit of China. The visit has been sponsored by the Chinese embassy in Pakistan with an intention of increasing interaction between the youth of both of the countries in the field of sports.

The Pakistani embassy in China arranged a welcome dinner in the honour of the visiting delegation. The Pakistani ambassador to China, speaking on the occasion said that around 22,000 Pakistani students are currently studying in the universities of China.

“I am happy that there are opportunities to further enhance cooperation in education and support besides the China-Pakistan Economic Corridor,” the Pakistani ambassador stated.

The ambassador urged the delegation to do their in the fields of studies and learn from the Chinese progress.

There are 40 students in the delegation who have got medals in the sports and this delegation will move to Anhui province after a two-day stay in Beijing.
