Pak China ink an MoU to increase research, diplomat training collaboration

A memorandum of understanding (MoU) was signed between Pakistan Foreign Service Academy and China Foreign Affairs Studies University to increase the cooperation in research and training of young diplomats and academic exchanges.

This memorandum was signed between Pakistan Ambassador to China, Masood Khalid and President, China Foreign Affairs Studies University, Qin Yaqing in Beijing.

Mr. Khalid, speaking on the occasion said that he is sure about the enhancement of collaboration in fields of research, training, academic interaction and academic exchanges with neighbouring China.

At present, five Pakistani young diplomats are getting training here in China and every year, a new trainee adds in the total, said Pakistani Ambassador.

Around 22,000 Pakistani students are currently studying in China and CPEC has played a vital role in bringing the two brotherly nations closer.
