Order to remove objectionable material from O-level book

The Sindh Education Department has banned the teaching of objectionable subjects published in Cambridge books in schools.
 
Additional Director of Private Schools Rafia Javed says that Olivell's Sociology book has an article on homosexuality, while the article on History and Culture of Pakistan in the Study of Pakistan book is against history.
 
He said that this type of articles is not related to the culture of Pakistan, so it has been decided to ban this content.
 
Rafia Javed further said that all the private schools have been ordered to remove these subjects from the books, the publishers and schools have included the subjects in the course without the approval of the Sindh government.
