Government of Pakistan has recently launched Tele School Project in Islamabad and President of Pakistan, Dr. Arif Alvi made remarks that online education is the only way forward. He further added that Tele School project has been launched to enable the students to acquire education sitting in their homes. He stressed importance of online education by highlighting the role of HEC in pushing universities towards the conduct of online classes.

The online education allows students the facility of revisiting the lectures as they are accessible and available at a later stage too. He appreciated that government has taken constructive steps towards the conduction of online classes. To the greater extent, the viewpoint of all the provinces have also been taken on board. Minister for Education, Mr. Shafqat Mahmood was also with the President and said that we are also planning to conduct feedback from the teachers and students in order to improve the system further. At last, President said that these are best educational measures taken in the light of COVID – 19.
