Punjab education department has issued the official notification for the exams of intermediate (11^th and 12^th) & Matric (9^th & 10th). These exams will be held in two phases as decided before.

In the first phase, exams of classes 12 and 10 will be taken, starting from 10 July and 29 July respectively. In the second phase, exams of 11 and 9 will be held, beginning from 13 August and 29 August respectively.

The exams of 12^th and 10^th classes will be taken on priority bases due to their admission in new classes in new institutions. Exams will be taken only of elective subjects to reduce COVID-19 spread and student’s conflictions about exams complexity in the pandemic. So Government has taken decision to facilitate the students by taking exams of only electives subjects. But with the complete sop’s restrictions exams will be followed and no waiting areas will be settled for parents to avoid rush.
