The Times Higher Education (THE) Impact Ranking is a global ranking system that assesses the performance of all universities across the globe and publicizes their report with regards to the impact on society on the lines of UN’s SDGs. National University of Sciences and Technology (NUST) is one of the leading research, innovation and learning university in the country. Nevertheless, it was rated by THE Impact Ranking among top 300 universities of the world as it complied to 4 SDGs of United Nations. THE Impact Ranking considered 859 institutes from 89 countries for the current year.
In 2020, NUST has improved its ranking and currently stands among top 200 universities of the world. However, NUST complies to all 17 SDGs of UN in 2020 but has improved its ranking tremendously in 2 SDGs which makes it an outstanding performer at national level too. One is quality education and second is responsible consumption and production. NUST was the first university in Pakistan to get all its engineering programs accredited under the Washington Accord. NUST constantly engages its internal and external stakeholders with enhanced partnerships all across the world.
