National Accountability Bureau (NAB) has asked for initial inquiry report of NTS paper leak case, alleged corruption case and other irregularities, from body’s Rawalpindi office.
NAB chairman Justice (retired) Javed Iqbal has issued directions to NAB’s regional office to submit its initial inquiry report to the main office, according to a statement issued by the Bureau.
The chairman had directed its regional director general to conduct an investigation about a month ago after receiving several complaints against NTS about question paper leakage, corrupt practices and failure in protecting students’ interests.
The NAB Rawalpindi has also been tasked to investigate the responsible people who allowed NTS to conduct various tests in spite of the presence of provincial and federal service commission.
The NAB Rawalpindi as also been tasked to find out the reasons of a non-transparent, insecure and merit destroying system of NTS.
This non-transparent system of NTS has not only endangered the future of thousands of students but destroyed their precious resources.
