Federal Education Minister suggests that government is trying to develop a policy for conducting university exams. Higher Education Commission (HEC) has made it loud and clear that no student will be promoted without an exam being conducted. The statement released by HEC states that there is no question of promoting the students without any sort of exams.
HEC is working with all the universities to come up with a policy of conducting exams in these times of corona crisis. There has been certain confusion regarding the fake news spread all over on social media, however, HEC has denied all such statements and made it clear that neither the online classes are being terminated nor the exams. Online classes will continue as per their schedule, whereas, all the complaints will be resolved from time to time. As far as exams are concerned all the universities are advised to draft an online exam policy.
