Three years later, six thousand schools under the federal government were taken over by Punjab.
The Punjab Literacy Department has also issued new conditions regarding schools, the teachers of 6,000 schools will not be permanent, no funds will be provided for the construction and repair of the said schools, and non-teaching staff will not be provided for these schools.
Apart from this, the Literacy Department will be able to merge these schools with other schools whenever it wants, the teachers of the said schools will get a monthly salary of eight thousand rupees, before that Punjab has thirteen thousand non-formal schools.
