NED; First time admissions in Cyber Security, Artificial Intelligence and Data Sciences

Three new fields have been introduced in NED University, for the first time admissions in Cyber ​​Security, Artificial Intelligence and Data Sciences will be held from July 30.
 
Under NED University of Engineering and Technology, 3 new engineering programs are being started from the new academic session 2023 and the new programs of "Artificial Intelligence, Cyber ​​Security and Data Sciences" are regularly included in the admission policy of the new academic session. 150 seats have been added to the total admission seats for these three programs.
 
It should be noted that based on the results of the first inter-year, the date of submission of admission forms for 32 departments in NED University has been changed to July 29, while the entrance test, which will last for 6 days, will start from July 30. It has been decided to take the entrance test again for the students, which will start from August 21 in the second phase.
 
Dr. Tufail Ahmed, Pro-Chancellor of NED University, told "Express" that after the extension of 3 days in the date of submission of admission form, the university has received more than 12,000 admission applications so far. Similar to other universities, it has been decided to take the entrance test twice and the candidates who cannot appear in the first test for any reason or fail in the first test can appear in the second phase of the test.
 
It should be noted that the first stage entrance test will continue till August 4 and the results of the test will be released on the last day of the test. Every day 3 thousand or more candidates will participate in the test which will be conducted online in various labs of the university. will
 
Remember that 2849 seats are allotted for 32 departments in NED University. According to the Pro-Chancellor of the University, the admission merit will be determined on the basis of 50% test results and 50% first year marks.
 
In response to a question, he said that 50/50 seats have been allocated for new programs in artificial intelligence, cyber security and data sciences, while 631 seats are self-financed out of the total 2849 seats allocated.
