Punjab’s ministry of education has decided the opening up of all schools, colleges and universities by June 01, 2020. Standard Operating Procedures for the same will be developed by the ministry and preparation for that has already been started. All of the schools will remain open from 7:00 AM in morning to 11:00 AM. There will be no morning assemblies and breaks between the classes.

This schedule shall be followed until August 14, 2020; whereas, the schedule will be reverted to normal since August 15, 2020. Admissions for all the government schools will also be opened from June 01, 2020 onwards. The revised schedule for the conduct of exams has also been announced which notifies that examination will be conducted during the month of June. The timings of primary school will be further reduced than the secondary schools, however, the schools operating in dual shifts will change their shifts to four hours each.
