Lahore University of Management Sciences (LUMS) announced the scholarships for the students belonging to religious minorities of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa province.

LUMS assistant manager (marketing) Sharjeel Mossam announced this scholarship programme at Peshawar Press Club during a function organized by the Lobbying Delegation for Minorities Rights Pakistan and All Pakistan Hindu Panchayat.

The assistant manager Mr. Mossam further said that the scholarships would be granted to religious minorities of KPK who have secured at least 80% marks in their matriculation and intermediate. The scholarships will be granted on the basis of merit, he added.

The scholarship programme aims at providing the talented minority students with good education opportunities so that they could come forward, he added.

The minority representatives appreciated this effort of LUMS and exclaimed that this programme would allow the minority students to become notable citizens.
