LUMS has launched Syed Ahsan Ali and Syed Muratib Ali School of Education (SOE) in its sphere. In addition, Syed Babar Ali inaugurated Syed Ahsan Ali and Syed Muratib Ali School of Education. The launch ceremony was held on Monday, September 10, 2018, at the institute premises.

Syed Babar Ali is the founder and the Pro-Chancellor of LUMS. He cut the ribbon of Syed Ahsan Ali and Syed Muratib Ali SOE. He attended the launch ceremony along with his two grandsons, Syed Ahsan Ali and Syed Muratib Ali.

The inaugural Dean of SOE, Dr. Tahir Andrabi highlighted the outrageous working of Syed Babar Ali on LUMS Foundation.  A two-long day orientation session was held for the MPhil Education leadership and Management Programme.

Moreover, the Syed Ahsan Ali and Syed Muratib Ali School of Education (SOE) has commenced three courses in MPhil program, welcoming the students in an orientation session. These three courses would be offered in the fall semester, including Introduction of SOE administrative department, a discussion on Paulo Freire’s book, and Pedagogy of the Oppressed.
