LHC orders Private Schools to temporary open

The entire country faces lockdown either in lose or strict manner. The Chief Justice of Lahore High Court, Justice Muhammad Qasim Khan has ordered the provincial government to issue a notification addressing the Private Schools. The orders states that Punjab Government shall notify Private Schools to open up their offices on temporary basis so that their administrative functions can be carried out. The primary objective of opening up these Private Schools is that they shall release the salaries of their staff.

The court further added that the notification shall be issued till April 20. An additional committee was setup to finalize the SOPs for opening up of the Private Schools. CJ expressed his anger on the irresponsible attitude shown by the administration as only 10 days were taken for forming a committee. CJ said angrily that shall I instruct the government to pay Rs. 12,000 to each staff member of all the Private Schools? He concluded by saying that the SOPs shall be finalized within next 2 days and instructed the law officer to present the notification by April 20 to all the Private Schools and in person at LHC.
