Lawyers file petition against high fees of private schools

A bunch of lawyers have field a petitions in Peshawar High Court requesting the court an implementation on the decision of the court that had banished the schools from increasing the fees.

The judgment was passed on November 8, last year which is still to be implemented. According to the judgment, the high court had ordered the Additional Registrar Judicial of the high court to file contempt of court petition against the respondents and private educational institutions in case the judgment was not implemented within three months after it has been passed.

The High Court had directed the authorities in the judgment that there should be no more than three percent fee increment annually. Moreover, the schools are directed to charge only 50% of the fee during the vacations. The court had also declared the transportation fee as the illegal charge of money during vacations.
