The vice chancellor of Shah Abdul Latif University, Khairpur Professor Dr. Parveen Shah distributed laptops amongst the graduate and under graduate students of university. These laptops are distributed under PM’s free laptop scheme. This is the 4^th phase of scheme where 680 laptops have been distributed.

While her address Prof. Dr Parveen Shah appreciated former government’s free laptop and fee return schemes. She has appealed the present government to continue these schemes for the welfare of student’s from underprivileged areas. She further advised the students to take the maximum benefit from latest facilities to counter the present challenges as it is the era of competition. Professor Dr. Asad Raza Abidi Registrar University, M. Ibrahim Khokhar Media presenter and Imran Ali Soomro attended the event.  Professor Dr. Maqsood Zia the focal person of laptop scheme told media that 4000 laptops have been distributed amongst the graduated and under graduate students.
