KP Education Department Initiates Children Enrolment Drive in Schools

The Elementary and Secondary Education (E&SED) of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KPK) government has launched an enrolment drive in Montessori classes on Friday, September 15, 2018. In addition, an enrolment drive set to achieve the target of around 850,000 children in Nursery classes. The enrolment campaign will be ended until September 30, 2018.

Renowned personalities were participated in an auspicious event, including Chief Minister Mahmood Khan, Advisor to the Chief Minister on Elementary and Secondary Education E&SE Zia Ullah Bangash, Arshad Khan Special Sectary E&SE and Director E&SE Farid Khattak. These all were the guest of Honor on this momentous event.

Speaking on the momentous occasion, Chief Minister Mahmood Khan said that the enrolment drive could only be succeeding by joining united hands of all KPK civilians. He requested all the teachers, parents, orthodoxies, District Education officers from local communities to contribute their efforts to enroll children who are not even seen the school face.

He further added that the KPK government has spent Rs800 million for building an infrastructure of education in KPK. The Educational Department spent Rs 89 million on purchasing 2500 tablets for the teachers to honor their performance in schools and Rs165 million were distributed among the teaching staff all over the province.
