Karachi Kings, the most expensive franchise of PSL has changed its captain again for the upcoming third season and this time it’s Imad Wasim.
The young all-rounder will take over the charge of the team after Sangakara and become the third captain of Karachi Kings in the short span of just three seasons.
Wasim is 3rd official and over all 4th captain of Karachi Kings as Shoaib Malik led the team in the first edition of the PSL but left the captaincy to Ravi Bopara for last few matches. Sanagakara led the team for the second season but could’t get any notable success.
The appointment of Imad Wasim was announced by the team’s president Shahid Afridi who announced that he will play like a normal player in the team under Wasim’s Captaincy.
Imad Wasim expressed his gratitude and said that it’s an honour for him to lead the team like Karachi Kings and be a captain at such a young age of just 28.
