Japan Grants 15 Scholarships to Pakistani Students

The Embassy of Japan in Pakistan has organized an orientation here on Monday, September 11, 2018, for granting 15 scholarships to Pakistani students in M.Phil. and Ph.D. program. In addition, the government of Japan has offered numbers of scholarships to Pakistani students under the progress of scholarship program in multiple eminent universities of Japan.

The Government of Japan has granted various sorts of scholarships programs, including Ministry of Education, Culture, Sports, Science, and Technology (MEXT), Research Scholarship 2018, MEXT Teacher Training Scholarship Program and a Young Leader Program.   

Ambassador of Japan, Takashi Kurai said on an occasion to Pakistan, that we have to enhance the friendship relations along with Pakistan. He further expressed his personal hope that one day; Japan will prove to enhance the educational qualifications and knowledge with Pakistan and also will bridge the gap between Pakistan and Japan.

The Embassy of Japan held an orientation for offering scholarships to the Pakistani students and teachers upon the recommendation of public sector universities in Japan. Before departing, Ambassador of Japan admirably selected students and teachers in well amount for their scholarship leading programs.     

In Teacher Training Program (TTP), one female teacher was selected in the Young Leading Programme (YLP), whereas 18 Pakistani students were selected for MEXT Research Scholarships.
