It has been decided to reschedule the annual entrance examinations in Sindh starting from June 15.
A meeting of the sub-committee of the string committee of the education department has been convened tomorrow. The secretary will preside over the meeting of the school education. Polling for the first phase of local body elections will be held on June 16, due to which the annual entrance examinations across Sindh will not be held on June 15.
Government schools will be turned into polling stations while the services of teachers will also be sought for election duty. Academic sessions will also be delayed due to rescheduling of entrance examinations across Sindh.
It is to be noted that all the Boards of Education of Sindh had finalized the preparation of Inter examinations from June 15. However, it has been decided to change the approved schedule of examinations on the announcement of the schedule of local body elections.
